Uplift Live 24 – the UK’s first LinkedIn-focused conference – was excellent. Meticulous organisation, fun and welcoming vibe and star cast of engaging speakers. Every session gave me something to think about and put into practice. Kudos especially to Louise Brogan for working Bruce Springsteen into her talk.

I loved the little touches like having the session times on the back of the name badges and the quiet room that was available for those who wanted to take a moment.

The venue, Millenium Point, was spot on, too. Fantastic space, and look at that massive screen! Oh and I loved the lunch buffet.

Big thanks to the Mission Control team – John Espirian, Gus Bhandal and Jeremy Freeman – and to everyone else involved in putting together a most successful event.

What I need to do now is connect with the lovely people I met yesterday and go through my notes to see what I can get working on. I certainly feel re-inspired about LinkedIn, and the key will be to follow through and apply what I’ve learned*.
