After an early-morning wander, I headed to the <\/span><a style=\"background-color: var(--nv-site-bg); font-weight: var(--bodyfontweight); letter-spacing: var(--bodyletterspacing); text-transform: var(--bodytexttransform);\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/visit\/hampshire\/winchester-city-mill\">Winchester City Mill Caf\u00e9<\/a><span style=\"background-color: var(--nv-site-bg); font-weight: var(--bodyfontweight); letter-spacing: var(--bodyletterspacing); text-transform: var(--bodytexttransform);\"> to meet these two lovely people!<\/span><\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/laura-massey-ma-bsc-aiti-51b43b83\/\">Laura Massey<\/a> is a fellow translator. We often work together to review\/proofread each other\u2019s translations and hadn\u2019t yet met in person.<\/p><p>I got to know <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/katherineledger\/\">Katherine Ledger<\/a> through the <a href=\"https:\/\/espirian.co.uk\/join\/\">Espresso+ group<\/a>. Katherine is a copywriter with a flair for storytelling, and we were also meeting for the first time.<\/p><p>A nice side-effect of meeting up with people in their local area is that they can recommend interesting places to visit. We had a delicious lunch at the mill caf\u00e9. Then Katherine and Laura left me to have a look at the historic building and the water wheel underneath.<\/p><p>Thanks so much, Laura and Katherine, for taking the time today.
