I use a translation memory tool called Trados, which stores translations I\u2019ve already done, so it can make suggestions when the same sentence (or a similar one) comes up again. This ensures consistency.<\/p>

I can also use Trados to create a glossary of your company-specific terminology, so that it proposes the correct technical terms or your preferred wording while I\u2019m translating.<\/p>

Whenever possible, I plan projects so that I have time to leave my translation for a while (ideally overnight) and then come back to it with fresh eyes for the polishing stage.<\/p>
