What’s the scenario?

You’ve invested time and energy in your German texts, and now you want your message to go out into the English-speaking world. You need a translator who’s just as committed to your texts as you are, who can quickly discern the “soul” of your message, who takes the initiative when necessary and keeps at it until all the sentences shine. Article, quote, website or white paper – with me your texts are in good hands.

How do we proceed?

You send me the text and tell me a bit about your target group, the background to the text and your requirements. I analyse the text and send you a quote with a price and a completion date. If you’re happy with the quote we can get started. If questions come up during the project we can discuss them by mail or on the phone.

Do you have English copy that could benefit from some native-speaker sparkle?

What’s the scenario?

Your language skills are good, you’ve written some texts in English and you’d like them to have a final polish. You need a native speaker who can make your texts shine while preserving your unique voice. Report, business correspondence, personal branding or Powerpoint presentation – I’m ready to help.

How do we proceed?

You send me the text and tell me a bit about your target group, the background to the text and your requirements. I analyse the text and send you a quote with my hourly rate and an estimate of how long I’ll need. If you’re happy with the quote we can get started. If questions come up during the project we can discuss them by mail or on the phone.

Do you sometimes have small English jobs that don’t constitute a whole project?

What’s the scenario?

You often write short texts in English and are looking for reassurance that they are authentic and correct. You need a native speaker in the (virtual) office next door, who can quickly check a text or answer a query. Plus a quick turnaround without the need to ask for a quote each time. Newsletters, emails, flyer texts or social media posts – I’m happy to support you.

How do we proceed?

With my Quick Fix service you buy an hour (or more) of my time in advance, which you can then use up in 5-minute blocks when you need it. When the need arises, you send me the text or the question, and I let you know how long I’ll need (normally I can fit small jobs in quickly and easily between larger projects). I track the time using Toggl and make a note of the time used in an Excel table. At the end I let you know how much time you’ve got left.
